Growing up in the south I have always loved monograms! Ralph and Gabs Designs is an offshoot of our other shops (Thread Born Memories and Winston Glass Works).

♥♥ We are truly an Etsy family. How did I (or should I say we) get started with Etsy? Like many in this country we were laid off several years ago due to corporate downsizing. I was in the legal field & DH (dear husband - Robert) was in the chemical industry. Luckily I come from a long line of talented artists/craftsmen. My mother was excellent seamstress and taught me to sew at a very early age so working with fabric and sewing was not a huge leap for me.
DH opened his shop, Winston Glass Works in 2011. He had returned to college after his lay off to finish his degree and needed to help with the bills. His fascination for glass inspired him to open WGW after countless hours studying and experimenting with the process. After a period of time we both ditched the idea of returning to the corporate world and spend each day working together.

We are truly blessed to have work we both love and the time to spend together, building a future. Not many couples could work together 24/7, but we love it.
